1. Entrants must reside in the Townsville City Council area.
2. The story is fictional. Any genre of adult fiction (romance, crime, fantasy, etc) will be accepted. We are not looking for non-fiction, childrens fiction, or poetry for this anthology.
3. The maximum word count is 6000 words. Stories over 6000 words will not be considered.
4. The story must reflect the theme 'infection'. Creative licence can be used.
5. The story must be written by an individual author and only one story per author will be accepted.
6. The story must be formatted to the submission guidelines outlined below.
7. The finished story must be uploaded onto the TWPC website. Submissions will close at 11:59pm 30th June 2018.
8. Decisions made by the submissions panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into about the selection process. Stories will be selected on an anonymous basis.
9. The (up to 10) best entries will be published in an anthology. Royalties will not be paid to contributors of the anthology. Those published will receive a free copy.
10. Entry fees are non refundable. Fees are $10 for 2018 TWPC Members and $20 for general submissions.
11. All authors selected to appear in the anthology will meet with the editor on the 21st October 2018 to receive their 30 minute editorial critique.
